About the Gallery
Entering the Fallen Warriors Memorial Portrait Gallery, you come face to face with our Texas fallen. Sons, daughters, siblings, spouses – they each took an oath to defend our country, and paid the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom.
Ken “The Dauber” Pridgeon has made it his mission to paint a portrait of these men and women we know as heroes, incorporating specific, personal details in each painting. The families of the fallen heroes are given a print as his way of honoring their loved one.
While many families have already received a portrait of their loved one, there are many more to be painted. It is only through the generous support of others that the artist and gallery can continue to memorialize our service men and women.
Pridgeon’s paintings are not for sale, but the gallery is open to visitors who are interested in viewing some of the 350 portraits he has painted.
