About the Monument

This memorial is the result of Cheryl Whitfield, who felt strongly that we needed a place to honor and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the war against terrorism. She worked tirelessly and enlisted the support of CY CHAMP PUD, the National Memorial Ladies, and innumerable others to make this dream come true.
This design of the monument ensures that their sacrifices will never be forgotten, that their memories will stay alive, and that their families will be remembered.
We encourage everyone to visit the Fallen Warriors Memorial and experience this serene, tranquil site. We have ample parking and seating while you reflect on the memorial.
